Virtual Grief Circles

There are parts of grief that can feel difficult to explain to someone who hasn’t lived through a similar loss.

Virtual Grief Circles bring together people who share something of the same landscape, creating space to speak honestly, listen deeply, and tend grief in the company of others who understand.

What to Expect

Virtual Grief Circles

Virtual circles can be surprisingly intimate. There's something special about creating a quiet place in our own homes that feels a little bit more cozy than some support groups.

Here's how we will flow:

We begin and end each circle by lighting a candle and taking a moment to remember our loved ones. This simple ritual allows us to set our intentions and recognize the sacredness of our time together.

After setting our intentions, a brief grounding meditation, and reflection we’ll move into the topic. I'll do a little talk on the grief topic for the evening and then we will move through our time together, flowing from discussion to grief-tending practices and back again.

As a circle member, your role is to witness others - to hold space for the pain, the joy, the stories, the laughter, and the tears. We honor all that comes into the circle. This is the experience of being human.

We’ll intentionally and mindfully close our sacred circle as we set intentions for how we'll carry the circle's energy and grief practices into the rest of our week.
